Deirdre Lyons Scholarship Fund
The Deirdre Lyons Scholarship Fund was created in the summer of 2022 at the Leadership Institute for School Principals 10-year celebration. This fund provides scholarships for school principals to participated in the Leadership Institute for School Principals. This one of a kind leadership development training is available to both private and public school principals throughout Kentucky.

Deirdre Lyons is co-chair of the Leadership Institute for School Principals Board. Deirdre co-founded Alltech with her husband, Pearse. Today, Alltech is a $2 billion company with more than 5,000 employees supporting its business presence in over 120 countries. To date Deirdre has contributed over $148,000 to develop Kentucky school principals. In addition to her leadership on the Leadership Institute board, Deirdre has achieved national and international accolades on behalf of Kentucky through her work in education. Including building schools in Haiti and providing top of the line laboratories to local primary schools.
